Common questions
Can you help before I buy land?
Yes. A $250 per-parcel GIS and desktop review evaluates a property’s suitability. The $1,000 to $2,500 Pre-Purchase Retainer supports your search for up to three months.
Do you work with small properties and larger farms?
Yes. Our documented projects range from a 1.4-acre family plot to a 265-acre ranch. We consider your property, goals, and scope individually.
Can we work remotely?
Yes. Satellite and GIS analysis, property information, and consultation support remote evaluation and design. An optional two-day site visit can add field observations, sampling, drone documentation, and layout verification.
What will I receive?
Master Homestead Design includes a property master plan, integrated water and ecology recommendations, agriculture and livestock planning, a phased implementation plan, and contractor and service-provider guidance.
Do you install or manage everything?
The design engagement includes implementation guidance and contractor recommendations. Installation and ongoing project management are not included in the base design scope and must be agreed separately.
Can I build gradually?
Yes. The implementation plan is designed around coordinated phases and seasonal priorities so that early work supports your long-term vision.
What if I already have a design?
Cleanup Crew reviews existing plans and work, identifies what is worth keeping, and develops a practical recovery plan. We agree the scope before starting.
How does sliding-scale pricing work?
Choose within the quoted range based on your resources and alignment with our mission. The agreed scope and quality remain the same. Paying toward the top helps make the work accessible to others. The $250 parcel review is a fixed price.
Is my retainer credited toward design?
Yes. The Pre-Purchase Retainer is 100% credited toward Master Homestead Design. This credit does not apply to the standalone parcel review.
Are revisions included?
Master Homestead Design includes three revision cycles, consultation calls, an implementation guide, contractor recommendations, and ongoing post-design communication. Major scope additions are quoted separately.
How long does a design take?
Timing depends on the property, scope, information available, and revision process. We discuss a project-specific schedule before starting.
What should I send with my inquiry?
Your name, email, and a short message about your goals are enough to start. Service interest is optional. We can request property details, plans, and documents after we connect.
